1. Workshops at partner sites

In April and May 2026, the technology partners met with the application partners ATC, BTS Turbo, DEUTZ, and EME for the first workshops as part of the requirements analysis for the initial work package.

At the start of the first work package, a requirements analysis is being carried out at all application partners. The analyses began with the specialist for turbocharger remanufacturing in Weilheim, Upper Bavaria. Two weeks later, the team visited DEUTZ in Ulm. In May, the analyses continued at EME and ATC Waldenburg.

After a brief introductory round and an overview of the proposed approach, including the definition of relevant system boundaries, the on-site production facilities were reviewed to make the previously abstractly captured process steps more tangible. Subsequently, small groups were formed to identify the specific requirements of relevant stakeholders on-site through so-called user stories. After the successful completion of these sessions, the findings are consolidated by roeren and compiled into a requirements specification. This document forms the basis for the subsequent work packages and ensures targeted progress throughout the project.
