Kick-off at the Start of the Project
On February 19, 2026, the project partners met for the kick-off at the Institute for Machine Tools and Industrial Management (iwb) of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in Garching near Munich. A starting point that sets new impulses for the industrial circular economy.

At the start of the project, the interdisciplinary consortium met on February 19, 2026, at the TUM iwb – Institute for Machine Tools and Industrial Management of the Technical University of Munich. Scientific expertise and industrial application competence are closely intertwined: roeren, iwb, FAUSER AG, INOYAD Technologies, INWT Statistics GmbH, DEUTZ, ATC Waldenburg GmbH, Elektro-Metall Export (EME), BTS Turbo.
As consortium leader, roeren assumes strategic overall coordination. Our focus: reducing complexity in system integration, developing viable business models, and demonstrating economic benefits with measurable results.
After all, the circular economy is not defined by vision statements—it is defined by implementation.
We would like to thank the Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Space for funding the project and the DLR project management agency for its support.
